On a crisp, snowy day, Alcorn State University held its annual Fall graduation ceremony. The event took place on December 8, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Davey L. Whitney HPER Complex on the Lorman Campus.
The speaker, who delivered the keynote address for this momentous occasion, was Alcorn’s Executive Vice President for the Office of Academic Affairs, Dr. Donzell Lee. Throughout Lee’s illustrious career at Alcorn he has held several positions which have consisted of Instructor of Music in Alcorn’s Department of Fine Arts, the Chairman of the Fine Arts Department, the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Interim Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and his current position.
The graduation bolstered 260 graduates which consisted of 176 Bachelors degrees and 84 Masters degrees being distributed to the deserving students. To see the names of the graduates click on the links below.
