THE CAMPUS CHRONICLE

Aspects of Nature

You wrap me in your vines of protection.

You hide me from harm.

The drops fall a tinder chill upon my arm.

The sun has set, the sunset fills my vision; what a sight to see as the world is in the distance.

An eery wind blows as hard times approach. In this thing called life, we don’t get a coach.

It’s unwavering like the roaring ocean, yet fragile like the plants.

Time slips by oh so fast, like sand in my fingers.

As the fire continues to burn in the forest, my thoughts continue to linger.

Thank you nature.

You are there for every emotion.

You rule the day.

You are Earth.
