On Sunday, April 25th, the movie award’s season came to an end. The 93rd Oscars took place in Los Angeles where stars came dressed to impress to give the viewing audience some unforgettable Red Carpet looks.

The Academy Awards were held at two locations – the Union Station and the Dolby Theatre. Unlike most award shows this season the Oscars had a runway. Stars decided to use the opportunity to put their most fashionable foot forward at Hollywood’s biggest night. Here’s a review of some of the best dressed looks from the night.

Zendaya was one of the last, but certainly not the least, to arrive on the Red Carpet, and she did so wearing a light, bright yellow Valentino dress. With this look she wore her hair in long brown beachy waves. The most striking aspect of the look, aside from the gown’s gorgeous yellow color, was that her abs were on full display. H.E.R. showed up to the Red Carpet turning heads as usual. The star, being unforgettably unique, showed up in all blue. Not only did this dramatic cobalt blue hooded cape paired with round purple shades remind the viewers of Prince, but it featured the lyrics of her Oscar-nominated song from Judas and the Black Messiah, “Fight For You.”

If there’s one thing that Angela Bassett knows how to do, it’s serve a highly dramatic look. Dressed in a vibrant red Alberta Ferretti gown with dramatic puffed sleeves, the “Black Panther” actress wowed the Red Carpet. Regina King arrived shortly thereafter, giving the Red Carpet a jaw dropping look. She wore a baby blue duchess-satin Louis Vuitton curve-hugging gown with exaggerated shoulders and neckline all-over crystal embroidery and a scalloped hem. She paired this look with silver Forevermark jewels.

Best dressed of the night had to go to Amanda Seyfried. She arrived in a strapless red ball gown designed by Armani Privé. The dress had a plunging, V-shaped neckline that split the dress down the middle, and short ruffles across the top. The gown also rounded at her hips and extended into a floor-length pleated skirt. If the dresses at the Oscars were an ice cream sundae, then the accessories would be the cherry, sprinkles, and whipped cream on top. Seyfried accessorized her look with gold and diamond Forevermark jewelry worth $1 million dollars, an updo hairstyle, and burgundy lipstick. This look definitely wasn’t achieved by herself. She gave all of the credit to her wonderful stylist Elizabeth Stewart.
