Alcorn Gets 28 New Recruits at Spring Signing Day 2020

One of the biggest days on the college football landscape is its annual Spring Signing Day. All throughout the Winter, Head Football Coach of Alcorn State University (ASU), Fred McNair, was busy attracting possible recruits. Following the disappointing 64-44 loss to the North Carolina A&T Aggies in the Celebration Bowl on December 21st, 2019, the Braves are looking for special players to help them get over the hump so that they may raise a bowl trophy at the end of the 2020 football season. The Braves signed 28 new recruits who may help them achieve this feat. The signees are:

  1. Gino Johnson, a 6’0″ 185 pound Defensive Back from Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Mississippi.
  2. Rasul Muhammad, a 6’1″ 170 pound Defensive Back from Memphis Central High School in Memphis, Tennessee.
  3. Cameron Jones, a 6’1″ 250 pound Defensive Lineman from Long Star High School in Frisco, Texas.
  4. Devin Dawson, a 6’3″ 285 pound Defensive Lineman from Lonestar High School in Little Elm, Texas.
  5. Malik Gaither, a 6’2″ 205 pound Linebacker from Woodland High School in Stockbridge, Georgia.
  6. London McGowan, a 6’5″ 270 pound Offensive Lineman from Horn Lake High School in Horn Lake, Mississippi.
  7. Christopher Daigre, a 5’11” 180 pound Defensive Back from Scotlandville High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
  8. Jarquez Mango, a 6’2″ 270 pound Offensive Lineman from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida.
  9. Ladarius Fair, 6’2″ 185 pound Wide Receiver from Lancaster High School in Desoto, Texas.
