The purpose of this yearly event is to provide students with the opportunity to explore career options, network with employers, learn about job opportunities, internships, co-op programs and to gain insights into various organizations.

There were representatives from numerous companies such as Antioch University, Arkansas Tech University, University of Mississippi Medical Center, University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, Arkansas College of Health Education, Mississippi State University and more.

Mensima Biney, Director of Antioch University Graduate Admissions, stated, “We are thrilled to attend the Career/College Expo this year. It’s always exciting to see young folks as they prepare for the next step. It’s wonderful that Alcorn hosts an event that brings so many universities and companies right to their front door. It’s there for the students to open it.”

Patria Carson, a Freshman Business Administration major from Canton, Mississippi stated, “I think that today’s event was full of opportunities. I was able to network and meet many people.
