A man once said it’s okay to eat fish because they don’t have any feelings.
I itch in this skin that I live in.
It’s hot outside and the heat is suffocating me.
My stomach aches as if it’s filled with thousands of stinging bees.
I try to sleep but the monster’s hooves drag across the floor and keep me up all night.
It whispered that it was all that I needed.
When I opened my eyes, I saw a fly with its wings torn off.
Such a sad sight.
Once again, I get my hopes up.
But I guess when the heat begins to become too much, I’ll just move up north.
