THE CAMPUS CHRONICLE

Scene

You were my everything,
Like something out of a Jet magazine.
Then I felt so drained from going insane, feeling like an outlaw chained.
All I did was try, try to wipe my teary eyes from my dreary cries.
With one swift blow I was crushed.
Ashes to ashes dust to dust.
This last time was just a bust.
Six shots to the throne, while being cast with stones.

All you gave me was litigations,
To your portrayal of imitations.
Praying that one day we will regain and remain and everything would be the same.
A scene from a movie with a twisted beginning, middle and end.
Who would’ve thought my muse to my art was the one to throw darts at my heart.
So it’s funny you see, I was living in a dark twisted fantasy.
