The Junior Class Cabinet held a ‘Strut for a Cure’ fashion show on Wednesday, October 25th at 6:00 pm. The show featured the Truly Recognizing and Embracing Natural Differences (T.R.E.N.D.) Modeling Squad as the special guests to perform.
The event was held on the Plaza next to the Campus Union. This show was created to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. The event was free but refreshments were offered for sale. DJ TMoney was the DJ for the night and he kept the crowd excited and ready for the models to approach the runway.
T.R.E.N.D. set the tone for the entire night with their fluorescent style and casual look. For the first set the modeling squad came out wearing white, denim, and an accent of pink. Each female model was accompanied by a male model and the couples presented their unique personas to the audience. Before T.R.E.N.D. graced the stage for the final time of the night the crowd got a chance to walk the runway as well.
The last set for the show was all pink. Each model took to the runway alone and displayed their talents for a good cause. The night ended with a final walk with the Junior Class Cabinet.
