The Fashionably Forwarded Zagarren Wraggs is a Freshman Psychology major from Louisville, Mississippi. He is currently a member of the GQ Modeling Squad here on Alcorn’s campus. Wraggs is into the drip/trendy aesthetic and would currently describe his style as comfortable yet fly. He is also drawn to the 70’s and 80’s aesthetic due to his love for bold statement pieces and button-down shirts.
Finding that he had a passion for fashion during his Freshman year of high school, he evolved during his Sophomore year by working and investing in his wardrobe/personal style. For him, fashion is a form of self-expression and feeling good. His current favorite fashion trends are Jordan 1’s, Telfar bags, and shades. Wraggs is inspired by the styles of Kanye West and Instagram influencers such as @pappiiq.
Being that he found his love for passion at a young age, Wraggs is still evolving and finding his true signature style. For those still trying to find their personal style, he would simply suggest to them to keep trying until they find what makes them feel comfortable and confident. For instance, being that this is the Fall season, his essentials include sweat suits/joggers, corduroy, flannels, chunky boots, etc.
He is currently working on bringing something different to ‘The Yard’ with his upcoming fashion line called “NASTY CLOTHES.” In the future, Wraggs has hopes of one day opening a clothing store and being notably known in the fashion industry. As of now, he will continue to work his way up and continue to evolve his personal style to find his true likings for fashion.
