This Week In Entertainment News (April 10, 2015)

This week in entertainment news, Lil Wayne disses Young Thug, Ty Dolla Sign, Tinashe, and Fetty Wap are set to perform at the MTV Movie Awards, and Rich Homie Quan has turned himself in for battery charges.

The Cash Money and Young Money beef continues. Just in case you’ve been under a rock, you probably have heard the rapper Young Thug will be releasing his first studio album and the title of it is “Tha Carter VI”. Yes, you read that correctly Young Thug has taken it amongst himself to continue Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter” series and Wayne is not happy. During a stop on his “Sorry For The Wait 2 Tour” Lil Wayne stopped the show to express his distaste for Young Thug’s album art for “C6” by saying to the crowd, “Stop listening to songs of [censored] who pose naked on their [censored] album covers.” Young Thug responded to Lil Wayne’s diss on Instagram saying, “I understand Lil Wayne is frustrated about his career, and I feel him on that, but this is my idol. I wouldn’t ever in my life swap words with him or beef with him about nothin’. This is a person that I look up to.” One thing for certain is that Young Thug has taken his idolization a little too far.

Next up Ty Dolla Sign, Tinashe, and Fetty Wap are set to perform at the MTV Movie Awards. MTV will be hosting their 2015 Movie Awards on April 12th in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre. This year’s host will be comedian Amy Schumer and other performers will include Charli XCX, Fall Out Boy, Zedd and Fifth Harmony. Fetty Wap will be performing his hit ‘Trap Queen’ and Tinashe, Ty Dolla Sign, and Charli XCX will be performing their track ‘Drop That Kitty’.
