You can never go wrong with bright pops of color. Lime green has been a major color this Spring Break and it doesnt look like it’s going away any time soon. The color looks good on a wide range of skin tones but especially with a tan. You’ll be seeing a lot of metallic this Summer as well.

It is always nice to have fun details on you swimsuit of choice. Embroidery adds character and a fun element to any style, but especially in swimwear. This playful element is a must have to most folk’s swim collection. Details such as embroidery, florals and texture can also be mixed and matched with solid tops or bottoms.

Do not shy away from prints on your swimsuit. Prints such as Leopard is a seasonless print. One can rock it all year round as well as other animal prints. It adds another fun detail to your bathing suit that will be sure to catch the eyes of others. Snake skin has been a huge trend everywhere lately so stand out a little more by exploring other animal prints.

Style wise, the high-cut bottom trend has been around for a couple of seasons now. High-cut styles are designed to elongate, lengthen and look amazing on most body types. One can also look into high waisted bottoms by helping to create more of a retro look and hide more skin for those who are a bit more modest.

Most notably, a trend that’s popped up throughout 2018 and into 2019 is sustainably produced swimwear. More swim labels are launching as entirely sustainably and ethically produced than ever before. The recent shift toward sustainability and the introduction of sustainable and Oeko Text Standard 100 fabrications stemmed from wanting to take care of the environment while still delivering fashional designs. This trend is anticipated to become the standard over the next few years as the swimsuit industry continues to elevate.
