INTERNATIONAL COFFEE HOUR

The Alcorn State University School of Agriculture, Research, Extensions and Applied Sciences (AREAS) and the Office of Global Affairs cordially invite you to International Coffee Hour. It will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10:00 am – 11:00 am in the Multicultural and International Affairs Building.

36th ANNUAL JAZZ FESTIVAL FEATURING THE BRANFORD MARSALIS QUARTET

 The 36th Annual Jazz Festival featuring The Branford Marsalis Quartet will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 9:00 am – 9:30 pm in the Vicksburg Convention Center. All events are FREE and open to the public.

Performance schedules are as follows:

·     9 am – 4 pm  High School and University Jazz Ensembles

·     4 pm – 5 pm  Branford Marsalis Workshop

·     7 pm – 7:45 pm  Mississippi Jazz Educators

·     8 pm – 9:30 pm  The Branford Marsalis Quartet

 

CREDIT MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP

The Alcorn State University Extension Program Small Outreach Training and Technical Assistant Project will host a series of Credit Management Workshops from April 18th – April 21st. This event is free and open to the public.

BUILD A BETTER CREDIT REPORT

Alcorn State University Extensions Program presents Building a Better Credit Report. It will be held Tuesday, April 26, at the Adams County Extensions Office in Natchez, MS. This event is free and open to the public.

 

SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND PSYCHOLOGY CAEP ACCREDITATION CELEBRATION

The Alcorn family is invited to celebrate with the School of Education and Psychology on Alcorn becoming the first Historically Black College or University in the country and the first institution of higher learning in the state of Mississippi to receive the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) accreditation. It will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in the Clinton Bristow Jr. Dining Facility Gold Room from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
