ETHICS WEEKS 2016

On Monday, February 15, 2016 – Friday, February 19, 2016, the Alcorn State University School of Business will present the annual Ethics Week 2016. Ethics Week is a university-wide event which draws awareness to and promotes the importance of ethics in all aspects of life. This event includes a variety of activities on campus that culminates in a special Ethics Week program presentation. This year, the special program will be held Tuesday, February 16, from 12:30 pm- 1:45 pm in the auditorium of the Biotechnology Building.

BLACK HISTORY

On Tuesday, February 16, 2016 the Freshman Class will present “A Black History Program” with guest speaker Pastor Jarell Glass and Hostyle Gospel. This event will be held in the James L. Bolden Campus Union Ballroom from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. All staff and students are encouraged to attend.

 

BLACK HISTORY LECTURE SERIES WITH MAYOR GEORGE FLAGGS JR. 

On Thursday, February 18, 2016, The Office of Pre-Professional and Honors Curriculum Programs invites all students, faculty, and staff to the Black History Lecture Series featuring the Mayor of the city of Vicksburg, Mississippi, the Honorable George Flaggs Jr. It will be held in the J. D. Boyd Library Auditorium at 10:00 am. MS. WHEELCHAIR MISSISSIPPI PAGEANT

The Ms.Wheelchair Mississippi Pageant will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Madison Central High School Auditorium.  Admission is $5. The deadline to apply to be a contestant is February 17, 2016. For applications, email mwmscoordinator@gmail.com.
