PASSPORT DRIVE

On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, the Alcorn State University Office of Global Programs and the University Post Office will host a Passport Drive from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the United States Post Office located inside the James L. Bolden Campus Union.

 

PRE-HOLIDAY POTLUCK

The School of Agriculture, Research, Extension, and Applied Sciences (AREAS) invites you to the Pre- Holiday Potluck. It will be held Thursday, November 17, 2015 in the Jesse A. Morris/ W.C. Boykin Agriculture Science Building Assembly Room. The deadline to submit your donations is Friday, November 13, 2015. A HOLIDAY AFFAIR EXPO

The Alcorn State University Extensions Program presents “A Holiday Affair Expo”. It will be held November 18, 2015 from 10:00 am -1:00 pm at the Claiborne County Multipurpose Building in Port Gibson, MS. There will be free giveaways, refreshments, and much more. UN LECTURE ON CLIMATE CHANGE, SMALL ISLAND DEVELOPING STATES, AND THE UNITED NATIONS

The Alcorn State University Office of Global Programs along with the United Nations, the Higher Education Alliance of The Humpty Dumpty Institute and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund presents the United Nations Lecture Series with special guest H.E. Dr. Caleb Otto. It will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 in the J.D Boyd Library Medgar W. Evers Auditorium at 1:00 pm.

 

FALL BREAK FOR STUDENTS

Fall Break for students begin  Monday, November 23, 2015 – Friday, November 27, 2015. All students are required to check out of their residence hall by Friday, November 27, 2015 by 4:00 pm. Residence Halls will re-open Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 12:00 pm.
