When Death died
I was given life
When I accepted Christ
Was when I became alive
He defeated death
On that very day
Then took my hand
To show me the way
When death died
Was the day I become free
Therefore I can walk in my purpose
And be who I was called to be
Death, where is your sting?
Hell, where is your victory?
My life is eternal
Because Jesus saved me
When death died
Every battle was won
Every chain was broken
By God’s Son
Death was defeated
By Jesus Christ
And if you accept him
You will have eternal life
