Despite the obstacles, they completed their mission in record time, proving their skill and determination. 

Kerry Washington delivers a standout performance as Captain Charity Adams, the battalion’s fearless leader who fights for her unit’s respect and recognition. The supporting cast, including Ebony Obsidian (Lena Derriec) and Milauna Jackson (Captain Noel Campbell), adds emotional weight to the film, portraying the sisterhood and resilience that carried these women through their mission. Susan Sarandon makes a notable appearance as First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, emphasizing the political and social struggles surrounding the battalion’s deployment. 

Tyler Perry’s direction brings an emotional depth to the story, balancing the historical significance with personal struggles, triumphs, and moments of levity.
