- EAT BREAKFAST
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You should be giving your body the nutrition that it needs to be ready for the day. If you are running late to class make sure to grab a Granola bar or some fruit. - BE WEARY OF THE DINING HALL
The dining hall is a blessing to on-campus students but in some instances, it has unhealthy options. Take advantage of the salad bar and the fruit options. Try not to eat the processed foods or sugary drinks. - DRINK WATER
Always have water with you. It is a better option than soda and it is healthier. You should try to drink 2 to 3 liters a day. Water helps your joints and muscles plus it will keep your skin clear. - ON THE GO SNACKS
If you can’t make it to the dining hall, make certain that you have healthy snacks with you. It’s good to have dried fruits or nuts in your bag. This keeps you from getting hungry. - GROCERY SHOPPING
When grocery shopping refrain from buying unnecessary foods such as potato chips and candy. Make certain to buy frozen vegetables. - NO LATE-NIGHT SNACKS OR MEALS
If you eat late your food won’t digest properly. If you think that you are hungry drink some water so that you don’t overeat. - MEAL PREP
If you meal prep, then you don’t have to worry about overeating which you will eventually save you money and time.
