We’ve reached that time of the year again when the newest crop of burgeoning Disc Jockeys have invaded Alcorn State University’s (ASU) radio station, WPRL 91.7 FM to impress the masses with their newfound talents. Over 20 students have scheduled slots to entertain ASU and its surrounding areas with their very own radio shows.
Other than WPRL 91.7 FM, a curious listener can also support the students by tuning into www.wprl.org. A variety of genres such as Gospel, Pop, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Rock and R&B will be featured throughout the shows. Each show will be one hour long and will be featured every Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and every Friday at 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
