Hey Ebi,

We’re not that close but I did take a class with you last semester. As you know as a fellow Freshman, life can get crazy. I’m to the point where I can’t take it anymore. I won’t admit some of the things I do to myself but I’m slowly getting to my breaking point. Please help. You have an amazing spirit and you’re a great person and I was able to see that even from a distance in class. Any advice you have will help at this point.

Hey there Anonymous,

First off, I’ll say anything is possible when we have faith and believe in ourselves. I know everyone’s situation is different and things my be more serious than others but there has to be a silver lining somewhere. You have to make sure to put yourself first before anything. This ensures your well-being and allows you to be confident in yourself before trying to help others or influence situations going on around you. We go through many hardships, especially during this transition from high school to college. This journey was full of more responsibilities, new relationships, different work loads and being away from our families. I can only imagine what you’re going through but nothing is worth taking yourself out of the game. There is so much in store for you no matter what you want to do in your future. You will get through these hard times and you will be successful as long as you believe that things will get better and you put effort towards making them better.
