It’s that time of year again where the seasons change along with the former Student Government Association’s (SGA) elected officials. On March 27 – 31, 2017 the hopeful candidates campaigned to become the newest representatives for Alcorn State University’s SGA for the 2017-2018 academic year.
On Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Student Union in the Multipurpose Room from 9:00 am through 5:00 pm the voting for the prospective candidates began. On Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Student Union in the Multipurpose Room from 9:00 am through 5:00 pm there was a run off for the positions of Miss Senior, Miss Junior and Miss Sophomore because the candidates didn’t receive 50 percent of the vote.
