Transparency
And I’ve been giving you that
But apparently
You haven’t been hearing me
And it really gets sickening
To do right by your words
But have you been listening?
Have you practiced what you preach?
Or have you just been speaking?
Saying things to keep me hidden
While you’re out seeking
I’m the choir
To whom you’re preaching
And tell me if I’m wrong
Or if I’m reaching
But if you want to be the pastor
Leading one sided conversations
You have to be honest with yourself
The choir and the congregation
