Security and Safety

The safest place to me is your arms

A place where I’m safe from harm

A place where nothing can get me

A place that always keeps me warm

A place where I can speak

And reach my prime, my peak

A place where I’m loved

And wanted and hugged

A place with an open door

To be safe and adored

A place where every single word

Will always be heard

A place for me to simply be me

This is my idea of security
