HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH ALCORN? – I’ve been here for almost 10 years in November.

WHAT DOES YOUR JOB ENTAIL? I oversee the recruitment and retention process.

WHEN YOU’RE AT WORK, HOW DO YOU MOTIVATE YOURSELF? Remembering my purpose motivates me. I love what I do. Making the phone call to an applicant and telling them I sent them an offer for the position that they applied to and was praying for and then hearing them scream with excitement. What I do changes someone’s life and I love it.

IN TERMS OF SUCCESSES, WHICH ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF? Building the Student Employment Center, creating the Self-Serve Employment Resources Web Page, and implementing the E-Recruitment Process.

WHAT’S THE BEST ADVICE THAT YOU CAN GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO JUST STARTED THEIR CAREER AT ALCORN? Be open to learning something new. Ask questions if you don’t know. Be a team player. Take the initiative.
