Did midterms stress you out? Every year it is the same tips about how you should prepare for your midterms. If you are someone such as myself who still stresses out and struggles while preparing and taking exams maybe these four tips will work for you.
● TAKE A BREAK/CLEAR YOUR MIND
Try taking a day or two off before your examinations. This will allow you to clear your mind, gain confidence and positivity which can potentially help you breeze through your midterms.
● MAKE SURE TO DO YOUR ASSIGNMENTS BEFORE EXAMS
With examinations already being a heavy load, it is important to catch up on any work or assignments that you had previously. This is important because it can lead to built up stress when trying to prepare for examinations and turning in assignments.
● EAT A HEALTHY BREAKFAST
Eating a healthy balanced breakfast is essential. Eating breakfast will allow you to gain energy that you need to take a test. When you eat breakfast your brain is ready to focus and work. A good suggestion of what to have for breakfast is a veggie/fruit smoothie, oatmeal, or a whole grain toast/bagel.
● STUDY
Studying for exams is very important. Studying days in advance is better than studying the day before because it causes stress and anxiety. This can cause you to forget specific information and fail the tests.
I know that taking examinations can be an overload but don’t give up just yet. Hopefully, these tips will help you to successfully pass your midterms.
