A once busy street
Now at a standstill
On the edge of a pickup truck, a group of friends
Silently gazing at the sky
The loud music through the speakers
Causing their blankets to fly
The view is breathtaking
You can’t help but stare
The beaming hot sun
Falling into the midst of the night air
Gifted from mother nature

Indicates the day is now over
