The Envy

I bathe in a pool of shame each day,
Blunders stain me, coloring me blue.
I watch the others drift through life carelessly,
Every step they take seems flawless, true.
I mock their words, their strides, their glow,
Yet every action I make collapses into loss.
Embarrassment clings, heavy on my frame,
My grace unraveling, scattered across.
Snagged in places beyond my sight,
Emotions rise and coil within the crowd.
Each moment—disoriented, hollow, fury
Then envy.
