Me And The Weather

Sometimes I want to duck

And hide under the covers

I just want to stay until the rain passes

And the storm has blown over

As the thunderclouds loudly rumble

And shake the skies

I think about how this weather

Is a blessing in disguise

Eventually the rainbows glimmer

To signal the end of the storm

And soon the sun will shine

And make me feel light and warm

And the weather reminds me of myself

At times, the water violently flows

Despite the rain, like a tree, I will continue to grow
