I think it’s a good thing but upon further thought I have my reservations. For instance, it’s a good thing because if something such as a shooting were to take place the teacher could protect himself/herself and the students but my reservations come in when I realize that most school age children are curious and will go snooping around the teacher’s personal items and may find the gun and use it.

I think that teachers should not be forced to do anything of that nature. I think their main focus should be educating the students not carrying a weapon worrying about a potential shooter.

I don’t think they should because its the responsibility of the principal to hire proper security for the school.

I don’t think it’s a very good idea for teachers to be able to carry a concealed weapon at school. Anything can go wrong. For instance, a teacher could be having an extremely bad day and make an incredibly wrong decision that could effect him/her for the rest of their lives.
