My scariest Halloween moment had to be a neighborhood gentleman, whose home my cousins and I had egged and toilet papered the prior year, dressed as Freddy Kruger and when we came to his hose the following year to Trick-or-Treat, he opened the door with the clawed gloves on and chased us down the street.

This particular Halloween there was an epidemic of clowns popping up all over the United States. Unfortunately, our town was not spared. My friends and I were being escorted from house to house to go Trick-or-Treating by our parents when one of the clowns jumped out of the woods and began running after the car. I was terrified.

My scariest Halloween memory would have to be watching old Horror films with my family on Halloween then being too frightened to go to sleep thinking that something would come and get me.

My scariest Halloween memory is the time my older cousin took my younger cousin, and I Trick-or-Treating. When we got out of the car we were approached by people in scary masks who chased us around. To this day I’m still traumatized by people who wear masks. As a child I did not find that very funny, but my older cousin thought it was hilarious.

I remember going to a haunted house with my older cousins and they made me go through it by myself which was extremely traumatic. The images of that night are still vivid in my mind today.
