NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK 2017

National Library Week will be held on April 10, 2017- April 13, 2017. The week will have events during the week in the J.D. Boyd Library. This year’s theme will be Libraries Transform.

MISSISSIPPI MARKET MAKER WORKSHOP

Alcorn State University’s School of Agriculture along with Mississippi State University Extension will be collaborating to host the Mississippi Market Maker Workshop. The workshop will be held at the MSU Extension in Quitman County at 220 East Main Street in Marks, Mississippi on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. MULTICULTURAL DAY 2017

The Office of Global Programs is proud to present Multicultural Day Festivities on Tuesday, April 11, 2017  from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. There will be a Parade of Flags from the front of the Office of Global Programs to the Campus Union Ballroom starting at 12:45 pm. 17TH ANNUAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR

Alcorn State University’s Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation will be hosting its 17th Annual Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Davey L. Winston County Self Help Cooperative’s Shiitake Mushroom Field Day will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Louisville Coliseum in Louisville, Mississippi.
