ENTREPRENEURSHIP- TRAINING COURSE

The Alcorn State University Extension Program along with Southern Community College Regional Workforce Center will be hosting an Entrepreneurship-Training Course entitled “How to Start and Grow your Business” on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Southwest Mississippi Community College. The purpose of the workshop is to help individuals interested in starting a business, business owners needing guidance, and technical students exploring self-employment. HOW TO START AND GROW YOUR BUSINESS

Alcorn State University will be hosting Archives Week Programs in the J.D. Boyd Library. On Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 10 am until the speaker will be Dr. John Walls and on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2 pm until the speaker will be Aubrey Wright. RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

The Office of Pre-Professional and Honors Curriculum Programs will be hosting a Research Symposium. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 10 am until in the James L. CONVERTING WORD FORMS TO INTERACTIVE PDF FORMS

There will be a Convert Word Forms to Interactive PDF Forms workshop in the Walter Washington Administration Building (3rd Floor) on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. There will be a workshop on Academic Recovery (How to Improve Your GPA) hosted by University College and First and Second Year Experience on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 3:00 pm – 3:50 pm in the J.D. Boyd Library, Medgar Wiley Evers Auditorium.

OUTLOOK RULES PRIMER WORKSHOP

There will be an Outlook Rules Primer workshop in the Walter Washington Administration Building (3rd Floor) on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 9:00 am-10:00 am. This workshop will cover the basis of creating an MS Outlook rule and a method on how to alleviate spam messages from user’s inboxes.
