What’s the Best Vacation Destination?

There are so many different cultures and traditions expressed all over the world. With the Earth having around 195 countries, it’s hard to pinpoint what the best vacation spot is. Things such as your personality, things you’re interested in, and even the food that you like can dictate the answer to the question.

As someone who’s not a renowned traveler it would be impossible for me to speak from my own experience. So, I researched many different vacation destinations and their reviews in hopes to find what the best vacation spot is. Among the most visited, there’s places such as Paris, France. Even when asking several people that I knew what their dream vacation spot was, they exclaimed how it’s always been on their bucket list to go to Paris which was very surprising to me because of the research that I’ve done on people who visited there and claimed it was less exciting than they hoped. I believe that Paris’ high level of popularity stems from certain tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower but if you wanted to experience something besides that then places such as Paris wouldn’t satisfy you.

A lot of other people visit countries such as Mexico which has a lot of culture. Mexico has good food, music, and the country is well known for its ancient ruins. I’ve been to places such as Cozumel, Mexico while on a cruise, and the people there were definitely very welcoming. Although Cozumel was great, I think a destination which seems a little more authentic and doesn’t have a lot of tourists would be more enjoyable.

While researching, I’ve found that a lot of people recommended places such as Turks and Caicos, Belize, Bahamas, and Bora Bora. All of these places have beautiful scenery, beautiful bodies of water, and a welcoming presence. Not only that but are also known to highly prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of their visitors.  In the United States, we don’t have many options when it comes to experiencing things that these smaller, less populated countries do due to the high level of urbanization. So, it could be very refreshing to experience places such as these.

Though these places have become more popular recently, they have given plenty visitors a homey feeling which encourages them to visit again. If you’re interested in things such as wildlife sanctuaries, exploring nature, and historic gems, then these places should definitely be on your vacation destination list.
