In This Hour

What’s it like to be free

Or to be happy

I am filled with misery

I feel like tragedy

Tears become normal

Joy feels so foreign

Fears overwhelm me

It is so dark. I can’t see

“What a waste” they say

“She could’ve done better” they say

“She’ll never amount to anything” they say

Why do their words have to be so mean?

LORD what do I do?

Who do I turn to?

My loved ones have forsaken me

Please God help me

I need you desperately

Please come immediately

Not next month or next week,

Not even tomorrow, Lord end this sorrow

So please Lord save me

I need your power

I can’t take it anymore

I need you in this hour.
