Actor’s Spotlight: Dominique Fishback

Dominique Fishback was born on March 22, 1991, in New York, New York. She became interested in acting at an early age and as a result she graduated from Pace University in New York, New York with her Bachelors of Arts degree in Theater in 2013.  In 2014, she wrote and performed in the Off-Off-Broadway production entitled Subverted where she played 22 characters. Subverted was nominated for a 2015 Innovative Theatre Award nomination for Outstanding Solo Performance. Her first significant role was Billie Rowan in the show Show Me a Hero. Fishback has also starred in The Deuce, Night Comes On, The Hate U Give, and Project Power, her most recent film.

For her role as Darlene on the critically acclaimed HBO show The Deuce, USA Today listed her as one of the five new faces that people should be watching on Fall 2017 television. Later she was recognized on Forbes “30 under 30 in Hollywood and Entertainment” in 2019.
