Braves Sign 13 New Recruits at Spring Signing Day 2021


One of the biggest days on the college football landscape is its annual Spring Signing Day. After the conclusion of the 2020 season, the coaching staff of Alcorn State University (ASU), were busy attracting possible recruits as was evident during the Early Signing Day on December 16th where the Braves inked 3 prospects.

1) Tre Lawrence, 6’3″, Quarterback, 190, Mandarin High School, Jacksonville, Florida

2) Robens Beauplan, 6’0″, Kicker/Punter, 210, East Central Community College, Fort Meyers, Florida

3) TJ Yarbrough, 6’3″, Offensive Tackle, 275, Itawamba Community College, Louisville, Mississippi

Additionally the Braves signed 10 more recruits on February 3rd to add to their recruitment class. The signees are:

4) Emanuel Dabney, 6’1″, Cornerback, 170, Liberty University, Jackson, Mississippi

5) Malcolm Magee Jr., 6’0″, Cornerback, 180, Colorado State, Pascagoula, Mississippi

6) Cordarrian Richardson, 6’0″, Running Back, 215, Texas A&M, Memphis, Tennessee

7) Tyreic Martin, 6’3″, Defensive Tackle, 270, Miami, Valley, Alabama

8) Montrell Huff, 6’4″, Defensive End, 250, Mississippi Delta Community College, Montgomery, Alabama
