Must-have Jackets for the Fall

Jackets in general are a must-have. They can add a nice detail to your outfit and come in handy when you need that extra layer for warmth. It’s important to have a variety of jackets because different styles can better suit different looks. These fashion staples are all versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. Here are the top three styles of jackets that should be staples in your closet.

1. DENIM JACKETS

Denim jackets are a classic. In a world where styles come and go, a Denim jacket will always be trendy. It can be used as a versatile piece for breezy Summer nights or a chic layer under a Winter coat. There are so many versions of the Denim jacket such as oversized, cropped, distressed and colored Denim to name a few. It can even be glam with a few embellishments. One can never go wrong when it comes to throwing on a Denim jacket.

2. LEATHER JACKET

The Leather jacket is another classic and versatile option. This jacket can help you make a bold yet cool statement. It tends to be more eye-catching as it has a lot more features to it such as buckles, zips, poppers and more, and almost always features a collar, with large lapels that are designed to fold over each other or snap down. You can also personalize it by adding pins and patches. This can look so sleek whether you’re looking for an edgy daytime street style or during a night out.

3. UTILITY JACKET

Utility jackets come in so many different styles but once you find the right one, it can really help break up an outfit that may otherwise be a bit one note. Do you want pockets, zipper closure, buttons, drawstring, etc.? There are so many extra features that these jackets come with that you can be very particular with this. Think about pairing it with a white or black tee. It can definitely add a little something extra to the look. It’s a safe choice if you’re not too daring with your looks.
