Growing up I absolutely hated my eyebrows. The only thing that would halfway satisfy me was getting them waxed. I know some of you may be saying, “they can’t be that bad”, but let’s be serious ladies our eyebrows play such a big part in framing our faces. For you ladies that know exactly what I mean or those that just want fuller eyebrows, stick around for a face changing experience. For starters ladies, the grooming tools you will need include an eyebrow filler of your choice (pencil, pomade, powder, etc.), an angled brush (2), a spoolie and concealer. Let’s get started.

TOOL

STEP 1

Always start your eyebrows off with a clean and dry face.

Many of us do not know exactly where our eyebrows should begin or end. This can simply be discovered by placing a brush along the side of your nose to find where it should start. Then place the brush at an angle from the outside of your nose to the outer corner of your eye to find where it should end.

STEP 2

With a spoolie brush the beginning (the sparse part closer to your nose) of your brows in an upward motion and the tail (the smaller end) in the natural flow that your brows grow. This helps you to see exactly what guide you want to follow when you start to fill in your brows.

STEP 3

Never use black to fill in your brows.

Using a brow pencil start to form short dash-like strokes at the bottom portion of your brows. Repeat this step at the top of your brows. Now you should have an outline or visual of how your brows will be shaped once you actually fill them in.

STEP 4

Staying inside your guide, begin to fill your brows making short hair-like strokes. Remember to never fill the beginning of your brows too heavy. The point of filling your brows is to give you a natural result so let’s be honest nobody’s natural brow is blocky.

STEP 5

Use the spoolie to brush through your brows to blend out the color and soften any harsh lines.

 STEP 6

The next step is not mandatory.

With an angled brush outline your eyebrows with concealer. This helps to give the brows a cleaner look. It can also be used as an opportunity to correct any imperfections made along the way.

STEP 7

Step 7 is the easiest and most satisfying. It’s time to sport those brows ladies. NO more lifeless disappointing eyebrows. And always remember your eyebrows are sisters not twins.
