The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced that the 2021 Baseball Tournament will now be held at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama.
The Tournament, which will be played from Wednesday, May 19th through Sunday, May 23rd, was changed to Toyota Field because of new stringent COVID-19 protocols. Toyota Field seats 7,000 fans with state of the art amenities.
Tickets for the event are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the game. Information concerning seeding for the bracket will occur once the regular season has ended. The Alcorn State University (ASU) Braves’ last games were on Saturday, May 1st in a double header against the Alabama State University Hornets upon which they lost both games, 12-3 and 3-0.
Currently the Braves (6-16, 6-18) are in 4th place in the Eastern Division.
