Black History Month is still relevant because our history is still important and it is vital that we pass our experiences and knowledge on to the next generation so that they won’t make the same mistakes the we (the prior generation) did.

Yes, I do still believe that Black History Month is relevant. It is still a tool used in schools to educate children on their history though I do believe that we are slowly transitioning from it. People are slowly becoming more socially aware and beginning to realize that a month shouldn’t be celebrated, but everyday of our lives should be.

Yes, because it is a month that is set aside for African Americans to honor other African Americans from the past and present on their achievements.

No, I don’t think Black History Month is relevant anymore simply because we only celebrate it for one month instead of every day. Black History is something that should be glorified continuously throughout the year because there’s no way that you can showcase everything African Americans have contributed to this country in 29 days.

I think Black History is very relevant because if you don’t know where you come from, you can’t possibly know where you’re going. If we don’t educate ourselves on our own history, who will?
